These Terms govern your use of BuildersMaterialHub.com and all associated services. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. User Accounts

To use the platform, users must register as either a buyer or vendor. You agree to provide accurate and updated information. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

2. Platform Role and Order Process

BuildersMaterialHub.com serves as a trusted intermediary between buyers and vendors. Our core functions include:

  • Enabling buyers to place orders with verified vendors.
  • Holding payments in escrow until proof of delivery is uploaded by the vendor.
  • Releasing payments to vendors upon verification.
  • Refunding buyers if delivery fails or disputes are unresolved.

This system builds trust and protects both parties.

3. Agency Fee

All buyer orders attract a fixed agency fee of ₦5,000, added to the cart total. This fee covers order processing, vendor coordination, escrow management, and support services. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

4. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors must:

  • Upload only genuine and available products.
  • Ensure timely delivery of items.
  • Upload pictorial evidence of delivery via their dashboard.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and disputes.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

5. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers must:

  • Create an account to place orders.
  • Provide accurate delivery and contact information.
  • Make payment via approved channels.
  • Inspect goods upon delivery and report any disputes quickly.

We encourage buyers to communicate within the platform for transparency.

6. Payment, Refund & Delivery

  • All payments are securely processed.
  • BuildersMaterialHub.com does not release payments until proof of delivery is verified.
  • Refunds may be issued in cases of unfulfilled orders or confirmed vendor default (minus agency fee).

7. Dispute Resolution

Disputes should be submitted via the support system within 48 hours of delivery. We act as a neutral party and may request additional documentation from both parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

BuildersMaterialHub.com is not responsible for:

  • Misuse of the platform by vendors or buyers.
  • Delays caused by third-party logistics.
  • Damages or losses beyond our administrative scope.

We act in good faith to resolve issues promptly and fairly.

9. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the latest version.
